Password Tips

Paybook allows you to use a passphrase instead of just a password. This helps you increase the number of characters in your password while allowing you to more easily remember it. For example, “Paybook is #1 all the way!” is exponentially more secure than “Password1” and far easier to remember than “Zk$!M7!e”.

When creating or changing a Password, you should:

Add spaces between letters and words. For example, instead of “PaybookIsAwesome!”, try “Paybook Is Awesome!” or instead of "password", try "pa ss wo rd".
Combine letters, numbers and special characters.
Use uppercase and lowercase letters.
Aim for at least 10 characters. The longer, the better.
Change the spelling of words. For example, “password” can become “passwurt”.
Change your Passphrase regularly.

Your password should NOT:

Contain your name or Paybook ID
Be a common phrase, famous quote or song lyrics.
Be the name of your relatives or friends.
Be your phone number or address.
Be a birthday or anniversary date.

How to create a Paybook account

Sign up through your social media accounts

From our website, www.paybook.com, select the “Sign Up” button.
Click either on the “Continue with Facebook” button or “Continue with Google” button.
Depending on which social media account you choose, the next screen will vary, but the gist is that you will grant us access to some of the information from your social media account to reduce the info you have to fill out on out signup form. Click confirm.
You’re almost there! Just fill the Regional configuration and click next.

Sign up using email

1. From our website, [www.paybook.com](www.paybook.com), select the “Sign Up” button.

2. Enter a valid email.

3. Prove your humanity by checking the “I’m not a robot” captcha.

4. Click the button to continue.

5. According to our calculations, you should be receiving an email right about when you reach this step (we’re really smart). Please check both your inbox and your spam folder.

6. Confirm your email, and you will be redirected to our site where you can finish the process by filling the forms with your information. Once you’re done just click next.

Your Paybook account dashboard contains the most used widgets to get a broad idea of your finances.

This is the sum of all your positive transactions throughout your accounts

Owe:

This will display how much debt you have on your credit cards.

Net Worth:

This is the calculation of both what you have and what you owe.

Spending by category:

We will display the trends you’re taking on your expenses via categorized purchases on a monthly basis.

You can change the month being displayed by clicking on the date displayed (You can only go back one year to the current date being displayed).

To get a better idea of a specific category just click on the name and it will take you to said Category.

Performance over time:

Here you will be able to compare via a yearly chart your expense vs income

Recent PayBooks:

This is the area where we will show you the latest PayBooks that have had any new transactions.

Recent Transactions:

Take a look at the last 10 transactions you made.

You can add tags to each and every one of them by clicking on the ”+” sign near the last tag

If you want to see the full content click on the name of the transaction and you will be taken to the transaction detail where you can continue to modify it.

Accounts:

Contains all your current accounts by their type.

Yo can access quickly to the link account menu by clicking on the “+“ sign near the top of the section
